Spring Garden Wedding Cake Masterclass (2-Day Intensive)
Workshop Date
11TH-12TH OCTOBER 2026 (SUNDAY-MONDAY) 9AM-4PM
Celebrate the beauty of spring with this elegant two-day masterclass, where students will create a sophisticated two-tier wedding cake adorned with a romantic arrangement of handcrafted sugar flowers. Inspired by the soft colours and delicate movement of an Irish garden in full bloom, this design combines timeless floral artistry with clean, modern cake finishing techniques.
Throughout the course, students will learn how to create a stunning collection of realistic sugar flowers and blossoms, carefully arranged to cascade naturally across the cake. Guided step-by-step, you will make a selection of spring favourites including a lush peony rose, a delicate Juliet rose, a classic rose, graceful delphinium, seasonal filler flowers, and realistic foliage.
Students will also learn how to professionally cover and finish a two-tier dummy cake in fondant, achieving a smooth yet softly textured surface that complements the organic floral design. In addition to flower-making techniques, the class will cover wiring, colouring, dusting, floral composition, and arrangement principles to help bring the entire design to life.
